General conditions

A) PREAMBLE

  1. SkipperPedro is a registered trademark by Pedro Manuel Garcia Santos Pereira CC 4809723. NIF 145861260 licensed to Número Épico Lda, VAT 515377481

  2. SkipperPedro is a sea tours operator and boat charterer, that organizes nautical events.

  3. In boat chartering, SkipperPedro seeks, for the end customer, the best boat, which best suits the number of passengers, the nature of the freight and the day of the week and time at which the charter takes place.

  4. SkipperPedro ensures that chartered vessels meet all safety and hygiene requirements, and are governed by two chartered skippers.

  5. A Tour Manager accompanies the SkipperPedro groups and will be able to accumulate these functions with those of Skipper.

 

B) GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. Customers must follow the directions given by the Skippers and the Tour Manager, thus ensuring their safety, as long as they follow all the guidelines.

  2. There is no obligation to compensate customers for delays, neither the boat owner nor the charterer.

  3. Customers must arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before the tour.

  4. The maximum capacity of each vessel cannot be exceeded, and there must always be room for two crew members.

  5. All prices shown are ex-VAT and include fuel, crew and insurance.

  6. The tours take place regardless of the weather conditions of the day.

  7. Customers will be able to bring their drinks and food on board and help themselves to fridges, crockery and running water, upon payment of a variable service fee up to €20 per person.

  8. Alternatively, catering services can be contracted with SkipperPedro.

  9. The contracted boat, for operational reasons, including safety reasons, may be replaced at any time by any other boat with similar characteristics.

 

C) PAYMENT POLICY

  1. To guarantee the reservation of the date, a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the event must be made.

  2. The remaining 50% must be paid up to 48 hours before the Tour takes place.

  3. To issue a nominative invoice, we need prior identification of the recipient and his VAT

  4. Payments can be made by MBway (925351919), MB, Visa and MasterCard cards, and cash, or by bank transfer to one of the following accounts:

D) CANCELLATION AND POSTPONMENT POLICY

  1. Up to 15 days before the date of the event, it can be canceled by returning all the amounts paid in advance.

  2. Up to 5 business days before the date of the event, the event can be canceled with a refund of 50% of the amounts paid in advance.

  3. There are no refunds if cancellation is made less than 5 business days before the event date.

  4. If stormy weather conditions occur with winds greater than 35 km/h or at grade 5 on the Beaufort Scale, or if there are serious disturbances to order or public health that might compromise the safety and integrity of passengers, the skipper may not carry out the tour or suspend it at any time, and propose a postponement. the event may be postponed to a later date, to the agreement of the parties.

  5. Likewise If it is raining at the time of boarding we may postpone it.

  6.  Postponements are for dates accepted by the parties. If an agreement on dates is not possible, SkipperPedro will refund 90% of the amount received, and issue a transferable voucher valid for 1 year for the remaining 10%.

E) REWARDS POLICY
A €20 voucher is available for each new reference that leads to a booking ie a boat trip.
Vouchers are valid for 1 year, transferable and used only once for partial payment of a boat trip. Vouchers do not entitle to returns or refunds.
